Bummer...
I'm looking at the projects you folks have recommended to fill in the void Einstein has left.

Very impresive Sir WarBird - If'n you need to keep your boxes busy (natch) -take a look at ABC@Home or Proteins@Home , both Boinc projects where KWSN needs a boost .

Come kick my teeth in over on ABC . Not that it will take much work, but it can be an incentive. You have people you can pass quickly. _________________

Ahhh... Einstein@home is back processing work.
My pending, that topped out at 34,000 is down to 26,000+ and dropping.
Although I still have a few doolies that are without work from Einstein they are crunching stuff from WCG... I'm not sure what they're crunching but they're crunching.
I was very pleased to see a few notes appear on the Einstein home page with a little information regarding what the problem was. It would have been far easier on all of us that run Einstein heavily if they had done that a week ago.
None the none, the project appears to be on a come back and I am a somewhat happier camper.

Their status page is back, also. I am unsure what the high number of pending results were, but as of this posting I saw over 108,000 still waiting to be validated.
My pending went from almost 10K down to just over 2K, already. I do still see several of mine that can be validated, so it should drop more.
Looks like they have fix this problem for now. As always, there may be future problems, they may start yet tonight, or may wait for another inopportune moment. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Since this is supposed to be something that's BOINC related more than Einstein related, hopefully this experience will help forestall this problem in the future on other projects. _________________

Being pretty much a single project guy until just recently I wouldn't have noticed any abnormality in other projects.
Did anyone notice the Einstein Effect on any other projects???

I haven't, of course I don't run that many so there is a smaller chance I would see it. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

No, it's more of a future thing. The problem was they were running over what the database could handle, I guess that makes Einstein the most active project next to SETI. I just meant that the fix was in the way they were dealing with data into/out of the database, which will help all projects (assuming they ever get to the point of having the problem). _________________

Ummm......................
Not to be a stick in the mud, But,.....Yesterday I had 12k credits pending and now I have 1k pending, However, Boinc Stats and Synergy don't show any credits credited. Synergy updated 2 hours ago ( as of this posting ). This could be Very Bad....................
Ah.. Forget it. Boinc Manager shows increase of 12k and avg credit increase of +1110. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Mine is right on Free-DC, shows 2300 today. BOINCStats shows 0 (that table only updates every 24hrs, so it missed the credits but will show them all tomorrow). Dunno about Synergy, but Mundayweb doesn't show the credits yet either.

I was getting concerned myself. I saw the Boinc Mangler showing the credit showing up. The Einstein site was showing the jump in credit, BUT Boinc stats showed NOTHING. I was not happy. But I figured it would ahow up in the next day or so..... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

There is a very real possibility of us passing University of Glasgow in Einstien and also passing Team Starfire for 6th over all in combined when the update finally comes thru.

Yep...
like I said, All my graphs are FUBAR. It gave me 13,900 for one day and now it will be hard to tell my daily production at a glance for 2 months. Oh well at least they kept sending work while they were messed up.
Ps: We passed Glasgow for 13th place in Einstien but we are still behind Team Starfire for 6th in Combined.
I don't beleive we will be moving up anymore in Einstien unless we get more Knights. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......
