Over 100,000 total
I have a few of the high end servers shrubbing Rosetta now that may help when SETI is down for maintenance or whatever.
I think that is the first time I have used Shrubbing as a verb, and the first time I have used it on this forum. _________________

I always use shrubbing as a verb when I remember what a verb is.

I tend to use shrubbing as an excuse to upgrade my toys, at least when funding allows _________________

Shrubbing is not an excuse, it a cause, a mission or even a QUEST!!!! _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

I coulda sworn it wasn't all that long ago that I went by you John, how come you've slowed down so much?
MY quest is to get into the top 100 of the team. I should accomplish that in a few months. After that I'll find a new quest. I could try for #1 in the team but I'd cry myself to sleep every night, so maybe I won't quest for that. _________________

Top 100, so I don't have to go to the bottom and hit the next, and the next...
That may take a while, unless I can find a way to get HPUX to score a little higher. _________________

It started a week and a half ago or so. Boinc on my "other" machine went hung up on a Friday afternoon, after I left for the weekend (the pc REALLY needed a re-boot, it had been a couple of weeks). So it was down until I got back on Monday morning. It took no time to eat through all the pending credit I had too.
So when I got it back up and running, there were a few days of little credit, with most of the work going into the pending area. Then my #'s started to come back up. The last few days I don't know what has been happening, I have been building up pending credit like I have never seen before. I've got a little more than double my usuall pending credit. Seti is around the same, but Einstein, I have almost TRIPLE the pending credit I usually have. I also have done a little more on WCG, so that is eating into my average as the work time for those is longer. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Yeah, mine has been acting up a bit too. It wasn't as obvious when I had Nano running and getting huge credits, but now that I've killed Nano my credits/day is way down. 1100 yesterday, the lowest since December!
Einstein is a part of it for sure, as I only got 106 credits yesterday (as opposed to my normal 300+). One rig doing Rosetta & QMC was down all day long (stupid roommate) so I got half Rosetta and 0 QMC credits. And if anything WCG has gotten even MORE stingy with credits than they used to be. Blah.
I know it's not supposed to be about credits, but I may drop WCG soon. Over the last couple of days I have gotten about 1/2 as much credit for the same work from WCG as I did for every other project. Maybe I should just go back to Nano, so that they can make up for WCG and balance out.
I wish Berkley had been a little more uniform about credits, rather than leaving it up to the projects. _________________

Well, following the discussion I checked mine pending credit, and found out the same thing. I have like 4 times the pending credit in Einstein i usually have, and double in SETI!
I agree about WCG, it is quite stingy with credits, but I'm shrubbing to help certain projects, and WCG is one of the most deserving ones.
So, I'll keep WCG, I am certain they will make an adjustment at some point. Most projects do. _________________

I'm hoping they make an adjustment too. So much processing for so little credit will keep a lot of people away from a worthy project.
Berkley should have set up a hard rule about credit. People woud have possibly gone to more projects if the credit given out was the same for the different projects. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Ive still got a .1 WU credit thats been pending for over 3 days at this point. Took my little laptop 4 minutes to complete, I think the last two outstanding units are being run on an abacus somewhere. _________________

I have noticed the same thing about how different each of the projects seem to be with respect to credits. I wish I could add my United devices credits to BOINC, that would put me in the top 100 on KWSN for sure.
