Still cloudy here so the temps are still down to a pleasant level. The sun tried to come out but I scared it back behind the clouds. Very Happy

Sir Loin, we'd be as unbearably hot as you are so this wet overcast weather is such a relief here. I'm trying my hardest to wish it down your way.
I'm hoping we're in for more rain because I'm dreading the temp going up again when the sun comes out.
Jakarta is flooding really badly, and that's where my father lives. Confused

I don't get on with him but I don't want to see anything bad happen to him either.

I heard on the news tonight that parts of the U.S. are rather chilly...well quite frigid actually. Stay warm, guys!

We're not cold any more, hovering in the 40F range now that the rain has moved back in. We are having really thick fog every night though from the big switch in air temp.

I havn't really been paying attention. It stays 0-8C most of the winter and so far it's been pretty average.

Of course I can always go out to the coast about 15 miles away where it is 56-60F year round. Really nice in the summer when it's over 100F and 60 at the beach.

Having had a week of nice sunny days (5C, 35F or so) and clear nights (-4C, 30F), the predicted "blizzards" have arrived. It's currently 3C, 34F and snowing lightly, with hardly any settling. According to the news, the country's ground to a halt! I just love media-induced mass hysteria.

Ah!, I remember the days, when I were just a youngster, if there were a foot o'snow in t'morning, thee wrapped a scarf round thee neck, donned a pair o'wellies and carried on as normal (with the added bonus of snowballs on the way to school). Them were the days, when winter were Winter; none of this global warming lark.

Temps will start to go up again. 35C today apparently.
