Two disks have failed in the main file server. This server uses a raid6
array so we cannot afford any to lose any more disks. The project will
remain offline until the raid array has time to rebuild.

Of course this happens when I am waiting for a 10 hour wu to transmit up so I can begin the nuke fest on my hard drive.....

Back up your BOINC folder on a CDR and go ahead and nuke it. Reinstall BOINC then overwrite the BOINC folder when you restore.

Great idea! I'll do it. Thanks. Of course, Symantec is giving me a headache right now (bought partition magic & downloaded it. They failed to send me an activation key. #$@%#%#^@!!!).
