Back around 1980 a friend of mine loaned me his X-Men collection (#100-#270? complete) and I spent the next two weeks reading them, then reading them again. I went on to amass a small collection myself. I don't collect any more (it got way too expensive in the '90's), but I still enjoy the occasional comic.
I can't say that I've actually thought about him much, but his passing passing has reminded me how much I enjoyed his work.

I am sorry he died too.
