As we approach the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, why not take 2 minutes to honour and remember those who gave of their time, health and possibly their lives so that we may be here today.
At the going down of the Sun and in the morning, We will remember them.

Amen
Thank a Vet, it's because of them that you can......
And while you are at it, say a prayer for those that have died or never came home....

Not only thank our Vets, but also thank the current military personnel who are putting their lives on the line each and every day. I have a dear friend who is active in Iraq for the 2nd time this war, he was in Afghanistan during this war, also (3rd trip into hostile territory), and he was in Kuwait for Dessert Storm.
Each and every one of these people deserve our undying gratitude. They are willing to give their lives for us, we need to be willing to give at least our praise back to them. Even if we do not agree with what our country has done, these people are doing what they believe in.
I wish each and every active member of the military a safe and quick trip home, as soon as it is possible for them to come home.
I also thank every veteran that has ever served, in time of war or peace. You have kept our country strong. I appreciate everything you have ever done for us.

Parents 60th next week. Hence vacation. He was Captain in WWII stationed in Phillipines. She was an army nurse. They met on Fiji. The stories they tell are amazing.
Thank all you vets for keeping the terrorists at bay, they won't ever stop, and I'm thankful you won't either.
