Looks like the deed has been done!
I meanwhile have joined the top 260 and am looking to continue my sail like pace towards the top.
I figure I could make the top 10 in the next century or so - if EVERYONE ahead of me looses power until then.

Sorry, have been sleeping for a while (new job leaves little time for frivolity....and also very much smaller company so I don't have access to the processing power I used to)...Now what can one do with 1 dozen 933Mhz PIII machines !!!

What you need to do is to put together a business case to upgrade the whole company to core 2 duo/quads....
the reduced electricity costs of the cpu's plus the reduced air conditioning requirements due to the reduction of heat eminating from the pc's leading to even more saves is the way forward....
plus don't forget the green impact of consuming less electricity....
