I reformatted my hard drive-windows XP had degraded. Downloaded Einstein@home and was happy to see what took 26 hours to crunch is now down to 1hr45min. The change was hard to believe. _________________ Railroaders for Galactic Exploration |

There are 2 different type of Einstein units, long and short ones. Long ones have a number after the first two letter combo of 400 or more. eg xx_0400_.... Short ones are under 400.
So before the format you were probably doing long units, and now short. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)
My lucky numbers are 121*2^4553899-1 and 3756801695685*2^666669±1

Einstein was noted throughout his life for being very disorganized and occasionally needed "das boot" upside his nappy head to straighten him away. Thus it is only fitting that you had to do the same on your PC .

apparently Einstein is quite anal about anyone making optimized apps for their project. the last ones gave invalid results and they had to purge them all. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......
