More thorough discussion here where it belongs. No need to drag something like this into the science section. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

Hey, I just posted the link because it was in an email alert that I received and I thought there may be some who were interested in reading the article. It was posted in the science forum because it is a science related topic. I'm really not interested in getting into a 'discussion' about Pluto that has evolved from a subsequent link that was posted a few hours later in the Round Table Forum. _________________ My brain hurts.

There you go trying to take anything I say as thoughful, serious, or insightful.
You should know me better than that by now.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a worm stampede to attend to. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

And all this time, I thought that Pluto was a dog!

I'm pretty sure Goofy was supposed to be a dog but I fear he mutated. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

It should never have been a planet in the first place. I ask you what right minded planet would have such a dogdy name. No, it's always been regarded by me as a kieper belt object nudged into a more planet like (though still not that planet like) orbit.
What was funny was that there was some debate as to whether or not the inner planets were really planets according to the refined definition also - them bloody tentacled Dreeps from the star system Canopus Alpha with their 7 proper gas giant planets, I ask you, would you trust them.

I guess istead of "Planet Earth", this place that we live could be called"Third Rock From The Sun" (as in the TV show). _________________ We're knights of the round table, we dance whene're we're able.

I had a nasty run-in with them a while back. You're quite right to not trust them.

Just be sure to put up some sort of a visible marker so you don't inadvertently mow over it. |
