He paid the toll alright, his life. Nobody got out of that car, and the fire was very quickly spread to the driver side. Ouch. _________________

This video kind of haunted me. If you watch it, you'll see that this person doesn't even hit their brakes, and they hit the stanchion right in the middle totally missing the lane, therefore I think this was a suicide.
On the street perpendicular to where I live there is a BIG oak tree, there's a curve right before the oak tree, and over the years there have been many accidents right into that tree. Usually you can hear, (in the house mind you) the screech of breaks and then that crunch, which is the crunch that tells you, someone's hit the tree again.
But one time there was no sound of breaks, just the crunch. Apparently this girl was breaking up with her boyfriend in the car, he was driving, so he sped up and deliberately hit the tree, trying to kill both of them. They survived. He had head trauma though, never the same.
And just the other day this happened:
Hyannis driver allegedly strikes cars, flees scene, crashes into pole
July 06, 2007 6:00 AM
HYANNIS — A local man allegedly caused an accident on Route 28 yesterday afternoon, then rammed several cars in the Ford of Hyannis parking lot before crashing into a utility pole, police said.
Christopher Ballard, 25, of Hyannis, struck two cars on Route 28 at around 3 p.m., according to police. He then attempted to flee the scene, Barnstable police Sgt. Kevin Tynan said. He drove past Corporation Road in his brother's Chevrolet Suburban, then decided he wanted to go on Corporation Road.
He jumped a traffic island while turning around and ended up striking some cars parked in the Ford dealership, Tynan said. Ballards' SUV stopped when it struck a utility pole, he said.
Ballard and his passenger, Tina Munroe, 45, were injured in the incident and were transported to Cape Cod Hospital. Munroe was treated and released.
Ballard was in stable condition in the emergency room last night, according to hospital spokesman David Reilly.
The incident is being investigated by Barnstable police Officer Jean Challies.
Ballard has been charged with operating to endanger and more charges may follow, Tynan said.
Me again, apparently, another girlfriend/boyfriend argument caused this one as well.
Have a nice day! _________________ Confucious say, "Man who lay girl on hill, not on level"
