One of the faster computers I have (laptop I am typing on) is waiting again, there must be a couple others waiting. |

They're all feeling beat up now.
WCG scheduler isn't up (thankfully long WUs and a days queue will hold me over, they're never down long), Einstein is still down (and I'm out of work entirely for them now with more than 40 results stuck), and SETI scheduler is reporting no work for the project (at least I have lots waiting to run). _________________

Thank the Heavens for Rosetta. That's all I have running right now. With Einstein acting like...well like a yo yo and with Seti not handing anything out now I am down to Rosetta. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

I've found that it's just not safe to run with less than four projects, six seems to work best. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

I don't like time sharing on machines. I attach no more projects than a machine has CPUs (or cores), so only 1 or 2. I mix and match which projects are assigned where based on which are reliable, so that the machine is never without work, even if it's 2 WUs from the same project.
With the default settings, 14 projects would be less than 2 hours of run time per project per day. With projects like QMC and WCG giving 4+ hour WUs sometimes, that means you'd be turning in 1 result every 3 or 4 days. No thanks hehe. _________________

Waiting to send completed, but everything seems to have a WU to work on. I am going to have to split the time up between projects. _________________

I don't run all 14 at once. I might run 4 at once in a blue moon. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

Looking at my standings in SETI I'll be a month of 24/7 shrubbing just to break into the top 1000. However i'll be very close to executing a reverse pass into the 1200th place shortly. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |
