Linux hosts seem to be able to run. Mac hosts are not able to run because the compiler, gfortran, uses shared libraries by default. There is a build option '-disable-shared' that changes this behavior. We are working on compiling GCC4.X which includes gfortran to see if this fixes it. If you are a Mac user and don't want test workunits please suspend the project. It will likely be tomorrow before we are ready to try a new Mac version. The validation issue seems to be resolved. Valid workunits are now being validated.
