Update. It turns out that there wasn't anything wrong with VS 2005 OR Windoze XP.
The .net project I was working on had a Meta tag nested within a <noscript> tag. I was using it to detect if anyone had Java script turned off and redirecting them to a page letting them know to turn it on. THe site uses Javascript to do some stuff (nothing evil) - just a pop up to let them know of something very important.
It seems that IE 7 &/or VS 2005 do not like Meta tags. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!
