The teeth don't burn. Pull the teeth first and crush them with a sledge hammer into dust. Then burn the rest thouroughly and repeatedly. _________________

Bones don't burn.
Actually if their house were to go up in flames after they were rendered unconscious, the investigators would probably just mark it up as someone in the famliy was smoking in bed. Especially if they found an ash tray with a bunch of cigarette butts in it by the bed and an open bottle of booze there too. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Hi Michelle,
I've been away for the last week or so, so have pretty much missed the whole of the thread.....
for you father....
my advice is to keep quiet and not reply, as you obviously don't want to talk to her, and you don't have to... if there was anything really bad, then your father would get in touch with others in your family and you'd get to hear of it.....
as for the NFH, call to poilce as many times as you have to. let them decide what's important or not, in those situations things can spiral out of control quite quickly, so having the police around will have a benefit....

How to get rid of NFH
1. send your children away for a week
2. dig very large hole in backyard
3. fill with water
4.put in 6 medium crocs
5. invite NFH over for BBQ and swimming
(make sure you give each of them a chicken neckless)
6. next day call your animal control unit and inform them that crocs have invaded your backyard
7. after crocs are removed; fill in swimming hole
8. sit down have your favorite pint and smoke and enjoy the evening before the kids come home the next day

Okay, you guys are all getting scary now.
Sir Brian, thanks. I've had lots of good advice about the child-bride but I've still been in a quandary. Your post helped me to make a final decision.
I've totally ignored and deleted the email. If that puts me in the bad books with my father and my brother then c'est la vie. It would be hypocritical of me to start a correspondence with her when I really disapprove of the situation.
Thanks to all my lovely kannigits. I really needed your help on this one and you were all there for me. I do appreciate it.
Now, the NFH. After having put up with them carrying on all Friday night until nearly 5am Saturday, they started yelling and carrying on again Saturday night. I called the police just after midnight because there was no way that I was going to put up with another night like the night before. The police arrived about half an hour later, the house went as quiet as anything and the police were only there for about a minute because the mother explained nicely that it was only her kids arguing. Bloody hell! My daughter was sure that she had heard the mother tell one of them to 'put the gun away' just after I'd made the phone call. Anyway, last night (Sunday night) they were going at it again. It's the same every night.
They settled down by about 1am or so and all was quiet. Then at about 2.30 a police car and two fire engines pulled up there. lol I have no idea who called them or why, but they were there talking out the front for quite a while. No sign of the neighbours though, whether they woke up or not I have no idea, but you would think that the flashing lights and the noise of the fire engines pulling up, followed by men with torches walking around the front of your house and talking to each other would wake anyone up.

Yes, it is a crazy place. We do have lots of fun here, and there are some very nice people posting. Please try and stop in more often.
Thanks for taking the time to stop in and post in this thread. Your comment was very helpful, and the thought that it may have been my father masquerading did cross my mind. It seems strange that he took so long to set up an email address for the child-bride, but it's possible that since he hasn't been very well for the last few months, he felt that the family should get to know her. _________________ My brain hurts.

Michelle,
Glad you made a decision that sounds smart. Keep your chin up! Smile, and remember that you need to keep yourself just crazy enough to enjoy life, and just sane enough not to go running around the neighborhood nekkid and screaming !
I am proud of you, and your decision. I also hope the NFH are finally made to be quiet. |

I know it was the right decision.
I've been playing too much Halo and Halo 2 with my daughter lately. Last night the NFH were running wild. I knew it would be impossible to get to sleep so I stayed up until after 3, then when I was trying to go to sleep and they were still screaming and yelling all I wanted to do was whack them or shoot them. Got to sleep at about 4 and they were still going crazy. _________________ My brain hurts.

A little late for a reply but it's still relevent. Gall stones are also hard to dispose of. There was a guy in England convicted because that was all they found after the acid bath. I won't go into the details. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.
