Hey, We have a Spammer. How do I let "The Man" know so they can remove it.

We get at least 5-10 spam users every day. Us admins look through the member list several times a day and remove spammers. So no action is required unless you think we have overlooked a spammer and they are still there after 2 or 3 days. I just now went through and deleted 4 or 5 spammers so hopefully it is taken care of Smile

Wouldn't it be easier if you were to but a "report to admin" button somewhere? Or do you think that would also be abused?

Not really. The member list needs to be checked by an admin several times a day anyway. Getting a bunch of "reports" in our inbox would just be a nuisance. If you see a spammer that is still around after a day or so, feel free to send one of the admins a private message. Other than that there isn't much to do Sad

We are trying to figure out if there are better ways of preventing spammers from signing up but so far we haven't had much luck.

Is it possible to have an email confirmation to help confirm an account? It might slow down some of the spammers?
