Police: Man Punches Officer, Yells 'You'll Never Catch Me'

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Annapolis police arrested a man Wednesday morning after he punched an officer and ran, yelling "You'll never catch me," before getting trapped by a locked door.

Police said Nicholas Raber, 19, of Annapolis ,ran up a flight of stairs only to find the door locked. Officers -- including the one he punched -- were waiting at the bottom of the stairs.

Police said Raber was in a fight about 1:30 a.m. at McGarvey's on Market Space when police arrived. When officers arrived, police said Raber refused to stop fighting, then punched the officer.

Raber is charged with assault and resisting arrest.
