Upload or download? There's been lots of posts about it on their forums. All the transfer issues should be sorted, only optimized apps are having issues now. _________________

I'm getting WU's from SETI now, but very few are running without problems. Using the chicken's app I get client errors!
Any ideas gang? _________________

I don't think I've ever had a SETI WU error out. Lately, I 've had one or two that processed very quickly, but I got (miniscule) credit for them. _________________

Huh. I'm running the lunatics.at app on three boxes (one of which has four CPUs), and as far as I know, there haven't been any problems. I have hardware issues with the CRT on the server, so I haven't been able to have a look at it since about this time yesterday. If I find out that it has been having problems, I'll definitely post that.
Oh, yeah - my AMD rig is completely tied up with Einstein right now, and will be for a while, so I can't really judge by that.
Hmm - so the only one I can really speak for is the Celery. Well, it seems perfectly ok.
I wonder if there is just an incompatibility with the "trickier" versions of the optiized app? The Celery only has MMX, and I think I'm limited to no better than SSE on the other two. _________________

Actually the problem with optimized apps wasn't the app at all, but the new server code SETI put in (as part of upgrading to the newest BOINC server code). It wouldn't recognize the platform trigger you use for a non standard app, which means it affected optimized apps as well as things like unix platforms. It's all sorted now thankfully, and all is well. I have the P4 1.3 back on SETI full time, and one core of my Core 2 back on it as well, with the optimized app. Hopefully this will help my credits/day recover a bit. _________________

Sir Dark Side - have things cleared up since you posted this? I had a lot of problems with SETI for approximately the first three weeks of May.

Einstein (though it may be a bit flaky if you're using an older BOINC client and/or an AMD shrubber)
PrimeGrid (especially good for slower shrubbers, because the WUs are pretty small)
Rosetta (we're trying to improve our team standing)
Leiden (we're trying to improve our team standing) _________________

I put a functional CRT on my file server (so I could see what was going on), and didn't find the slightest problem with it. My guess is they had the problem fixed before I even got BOINC going on that machine, because I had loaded lunatics.at app on it pretty much as soon as I got it going with BOINC. _________________

My optimized app on my Opty rig was still giving an error that sounded like this. At least while BOINC manager would still display. It's running now, I just can't manipulate it or see what's going on. Major OS problems. _________________
