I read someplace that there was going to be a new Boinc project regarding extrasolar planets. I cant remember where I saw it or the project name. Does anyone know about this and when or if it will come into being? This sounds like my kind of project and I would like to get in at the start.....

I went to the web site and it sounds great. Too bad they dont seem to be able to get it up and running. They say they want a beta project by spring of 2006. Doh......

Why don't we ( KWSN ) offer our services as testers. This would be advantageous to them as well as us. However I, for one, would insist on the first earthlike planet found to be named NI!. Assuming that it had shrubberies.

Sounds cool. Especially now that we have a planet to replace. Seems that Pluto is no longer a planet and we only have 8 of them in our solar system.
