|

There is a new BOINC pre-alpha out which is undergoing testing.. No problems so far. The ones that have popped up have been fixed.
It's a BOINC version of Riesel Sieve, and Bryan plans to eventually get the LLR portion to work as well, but that's up in the air.

So far it's Windoze only. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

I'm considering a new BOINC project and I was wondering if I could get some of our merry band to join...
I want to use the power of distributed computing to discover the very best pick up line to use when meeting a lovely lady...
I want to call it 'What'syoursign@home'...
Whatcha think???

The sign up phase lasted about 5 miliseconds. I think they have a grand total of 12 users. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

They say they have 50 users, probably most Synergy and Free-DC.

Last time I ran a WU.. anywhere from 9 mins to 1 hr. Average time lately is 30 mins on a X2 4200+. Haven't worked on it for awhile, as i'm trying to finish off a very large SoB Sieve range. So far i've gained 2 places for 400 points on the DC-Vault. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

For those who missed it the first time, 50 new account slots have been opened. Enjoy!

I think those 50 slots lasted approx 6 milliseconds this time. At least sign up is slowing down. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

They need to open them more than 50 at a time.

Okay it is a bit weird on how to join, you have to attach to the project first and then update all your stuff on the website.
