Boy, I feel like I'm on, "As the CPU Turns...."
What am I? Back in High School? What a nightmarish thought THAT is. I'm just going to keep churning out my little shrubs. Hey, this reminds me of something....
REG:
Right. You're in. Listen. The only people we hate more than the Romans are the fucking Judean People's Front.
P.F.J.:
Yeah...
JUDITH:
Splitters.
P.F.J.:
Splitters...
FRANCIS:
And the Judean Popular People's Front.
P.F.J.:
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Splitters. Splitters...
LORETTA:
And the People's Front of Judea.
P.F.J.:
Yeah. Splitters. Splitters...
REG:
What?
LORETTA:
The People's Front of Judea. Splitters.
REG:
We're the People's Front of Judea!
LORETTA:
Oh. I thought we were the Popular Front.
REG:
People's Front! C-huh.
FRANCIS:
Whatever happened to the Popular Front, Reg?
REG:
He's over there.
P.F.J.:

OOH! do you think we could sell this idea to ABC for millions?!
But seriously. Eric Korpela has posted an answer to the striker's "requests" and I think this chapter in seti@home is ready to be closed. I actually increased my seti output this week. Kind of a protest against the protest. Right now my goal is to get my RAC above 1,000 by the end of the weekend.

Well I didn't quite make it by the end of the weekend but today (Monday) I did finally break 1,000 RAC some time during the afternoon. Yay! Anyway, I think the strike is now officially over although I know some people have decided to never come back. Too bad but oh well. I just hope they move to other projects and don't drop distributed computing completely. |

SETI has way too much computing power. They've been doing everything they can to get people to move to other projects. I'm with Mac, as long as they don't drop DC all together it's a good thing(TM).

If crunch3r is back, I wonder if he's going to make that app available again or what? And no, I really wasn't of a mind to delete the optimized crunch3r enhanced app from my HD by now... |

Where did you see that crunch3r is back? I believe he has washed his hands of the whole deal and gone to einstein. He may be working on an optimized einstein app though... |

If crunch3r's credit goes up any, as Sir Brian has suggested that BOINC stats is slating crunch3r to over-take his credit; this certainly would be a change of events here. Hmm...
I thought he left SETI for good as well... |

I believe Sir Brian was talking about Einstein stats. Boincstats doesn't display what project you are looking at but if you look at the URL it says "project=eah". |

Well it is an honest mistake, given that ex-SETI luminaries are mentioned, and in the SETI forum |
