Work generation has been temporarily suspended due to ongoing server performance problems. Only workunits that end with error or expire will be reissued for now.
The problems occur because the database has outgrown installed memory size. If you can spare some money for memory upgrade, please visit donation page.

And here I thought doing things in a scripting language such as Pearl, rather then in C++ might have been a reason for some of the performance lag...

Well, the upside, they're looking into it. The lags had been a little long, albeit bearable...
