|
|
I downloaded F@H on my work PC, I am only here 2 days per week, (well maybe another day or two for a couple of hours) I know F@H will work even if there is no Internet connection. Well right off the bat it gave me a 10,000 frame WU, now my question is, Will this WU ever finish with only sparodic Internet connects?
Do I need to request Timeless WU's?
Should I just let this one finish and give up at my work PC?

Well, you have a few possibilities...
Just for us to know, what kind of computer you have at your work? is it new or old?
If you arrive to work twice a week or so, check when you get to work if the WU is finished, in case its finished, use your dial-up connection and upload the WU, get a new WU and shut down the dial-up connection and keep working like this until the next time the WU will finish... that will be great...
If your computer at work is REALLY old, it might won't stand the schedule to return the WU, in that case, you may consider to use timeless WUs, which is really good for dial-up connection coz you can cache up to 10 of those time-less WU, finish ALL OF THEM and than uploading all of them together and get new 10 WUs...
It's your choice, if you don't have a problem to get connected when you notice at work that the WU finished, do it, if you would be able to get on-line really rarely, use the timeless WU, both of them helps, and both of those ideas are pretty LOONEY!
Good luck! Ask any questions you would like as well... I'll be glad to help you as much as you need, as long as you won't smite me... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Idan, I would never smite you, you are to sweet.
This PC is old and it only has 278 MB Ram and it is only used for Legal work forms and to look up Deeds at the Register of Deeds office and to get PDF files from the SOS.
I will see how this WU reacts on this PC and then judge or ask about what to do next.
Thanks for your prompt reply, those lazy kNi!ghts are all sleeping in today. _________________ Don't fuss about growing older, many are denied the chance. |
