Does this ring a bell with anyone?

WARNING: org.dom4j.DocumentException: Error on line 1 of document : White spaces are required between publicId and systemId. Nested exception: White spaces are required between publicId and systemId.
Looks like a syntax error in the communications file.
Dimes does not seem to recover from this: it tries to resend the same file each minute.
Anybody know what file to reset?
Anybody else got this phenomenon?
Does this require a reinstall?

Update:
I re-installed the application. Did not fix the problem.
Afterwards, i mailed the support line at the dimes site.
They got back with this:

Indeed resolve itself it did.
one more thing...
even thoug the measurements are back and running... i get no replies.

The program seems somehow determined to run all measurements in UDP mode.
Ran the check blocking tool, which returns UDP mode as blocked. OK, i switched the preferences to ICMP. This registers correctly, but the Dimes agent keeps on measuring in UDP mode, which is blocked, which is why i don't get replies, at infinitum.
Did i miss something?
(as the whore i am, i don't mind the exercise being pointless, as long as it gets me the credit  )

Yup, Dimes is only processing UDP transactions no matter how many times you tell it to run ICMP.
