I recently got my account active and joined the KWSN team. We only have the two of us! Is anyone else due to join up soon?

Hadn't heard of Prime Grid until you mentioned it.
http://www.primegrid.com/
Looks like the purposes are:
A. Test Perl programming with BOINC
B. Something related to cryptography?
At first glance, not as interesting as other projects to me... |

Uhh... Forgive me but why would you WANT to implement BOINC in Perl?!? I mean don't get me wrong... perl is great for some things. Quick scripts, text manipulation and code obfuscation being its primary uses but to build an entire web-based system on it? They must be a bunch of loonies! |

My name rhymes with Bologna.
Perl script thing aside, it seems to me to be a good companion for the XtremLab at the moment as Prime is Windows-only and Xtrem is Linux-only. |

Seems the new PrimeGrid WU's are a lot shorter than the old ones. Now like 10 minutes or so to complete a WU instead of about 3 hours. Also I have over 3K in PrimeGrid credit.
