My AMD 2600+ takes somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 hours so the work units appear to be about twice as big as the average seti@home work unit or about 1/85 of a CPDN work unit
Strange, my XP 2800+ comes out with a shrubbery under three hours each time. Slow RAM?
Mine has regular FSB333, although the board could do FSB400 (nForce2 Ultra). _________________ Ni! Ni!

My 2700+ takes 5:50 per shrub. Haven't tried anything else. I have a couple of 2800+, maybe I'll see how mine does. |

From the front page:
Feb 12, 2005
We are planning to shutdown the Einstein@Home server for approximately 1 hour starting at 23:00 UTC on Sunday the 13th. We will update the mysql database software and the kernel.
As for WU's times i'm pulling ~4hrs with my AMD64 3200+ switching projects. Seti WU's would take around 3 to 3:30 hrs. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

Who are these people at E@H? "we'll gladden Einsteins heart and all of humanity if we find gravity waves." Jeez, give me a break! And who the hell is Elbert Einstein! _________________ a monster can be excused for his behaviour . . . The problem is not how a monster could do it, but how a human being did it.

Elbert was Albert's lessor known cousin that invented the comb. |

Ni! Thanks for that info. So are we searching for Albert or Elbert Einstein? My bloodhound will get all confused otherwise.

That's what I like - lateral thinking!
I'll send Mrs spud off with a bloodhound to find Elbert and I'll go after Albert. That should be pretty easy as he's dead, but it's his brain that's missing. Oh no! I said the B word. ZK will be after me now! Perhaps ZK can help me find Albert's thing that begins with B. Ingenious. Now we're getting somewhere! (for those of you wondering about Elbert, see E@H teams list - last page, I think)

#39 and climbing - all right? not 'arf! (as Fluff used to say) Albert was cremated in 1955, so that just about scr*ws up that search (though his br**n is out there somewhere), but this Elbert though...ummm.

Elbert probably didn't have a br**n (take that zombie kitty) or he would have invented the comb while Albert was still alive. |

I think Z.K is in retirement, due to embarrasment about her appearing in an ill-fitting bikini...
Although Z.K. would look good in Alberts hair, dontcha think?? _________________ 0.0 Giggly hertzes Folding!

Bikini Zombie Kitty - great name for a band, or early 60s surfer/horror film. #36 and still climbing! (those Czechs are keeping pace, but the BYU team is about to watch us speed by - wave to the mormons now!
(and I've still got 3 , yes 3, WUs pending credit. The T-34 tank technology is holding up! ) _________________ a monster can be excused for his behaviour . . . The problem is not how a monster could do it, but how a human being did it.

I come hot foot (so that's what smells) from E@H...#32 and on the rise (ooh, err!). I just wish they'd stick some new batteries in the validator - I've no less then 4 WUs awaiting credit, and I've got antiquated Russian T-34 tank technology! Is this some sort of capitalist plot! Forward Worker's of the WUs! We've nothing to lose but our chains - wait a minute, I like my chains and leather ....oops! _________________ a monster can be excused for his behaviour . . .
