I could see keeping a few around just in case you get uninvited guests. Of course none would go near my food. I love spicy food, but only up to the point that the spice adds to the flavor, not when it starts replacing the flavor. One of the few things I dislike about Oregon having come from California. Most people around here consider salt to be the only spice, the adventurous ones might spring for a little ground black pepper. Its hard when you first start going to a Thai or Mexican restaurant to convince them that we actually want spicy.

Those are good stuff, but I'd definitely wear rubber gloves when handling them. I got the pepper burn on my hands once (and it lasted for days) - I started wearing gloves after that.

and why would you put these anywhere near your food.......?

Because they taste good, despite being really hot? It's not like you use a ton of them.

They taste really good, but only if you keep them in the baggie and wave the baggie over the pot a few times. Not too many times, though, otherwise it's too much.

One little pumpkin had her wisdom teeth taken out this past week, and Mrs Pumpkin wanted to have a look inside her mouth after it was all over. Mrs. says "So, where was you tooth taken from? I don't see the hole!" The toothless daughter says, with a jusht-got-out-of the-dentisht slur..."Mom.... dey sewed it up!!"

Noone's done anything stupid in ALMOST 2 YEARS??? I doubt that...

As a new shrub-seeker, it's my turn.

Now due to a disability, I have two fingers on each hand (important point).

One day I had picked up something from the store that was in a molded plastic cover. I tried using a knife by the counter-no luck.

Grabbed our heavy-duty shears and went to the edge of the leather couch to prop it and try there.

YEP-I sunk the shears (open blades-both of em) into the arm of the wedding present from my parents.

If I remember right, when my wife came home my first words when I met her in the driveway were, "Umm..honey, please don't be mad at me."

Didn't work.... Embarassed

You're so lucky it wasn't from her parents, though.

Not really stupid just a tale from "The Absent Minded Professor" which was my family nickname as a child.

I grew up (ish) and have always been a bit of a day dreamer thinking about stuff

STUFF you know

Why does a "ducks asshole have in's and outs and other stuff that may or may not bear any relationship to ducks assholes and stuff like that".

Well by this time I was about 21ish and had managed to pass my driving test and worked for the GPO as it was known in those days.

This particular day was just one of those perfectly balmy, dream about STUFF days.

The sun was gently beaming its a stuff day onto my forehead. I smiled as I drew up in the Comma Van on the drive way of my next delivery and goosebumps caressed my skin with delicious sensations tingling through my nerves.

Jumped out and meandered in the early morning sunlight to the front door and pushed the delivery though the letter box. Wandered slowly back to the van while getting the post ready for the next house and looked up...

OH MY FREAKING GOD SOMEONE'S NICKED THE VAN...

All sense left me, guts knotted up and I ran down the driveway in an attempt to catch up with the thief.

Imagine my relief and then my woe as I saw the van rolling backwards across a rather busy country lane only to drop into the ditch on the other side.

Yes I had forgotten to put the handbrake on and it had rolled backwards down a slight gradient onto a quite steep part of the drive before disappearing out of sight about 150 yards up the drive (or down the hill) and ending up in the ditch...

OPPS

Did it stop me dreaming Wink

You better believe it didn't Wink

I hope they fired whoever was responsible for that ditch.

Ditch diggers.

Bunch of troublemakers.
