VGTU has a high Stomp Factor™. KWSN should be able to pass 4 to 8 teams if we get "Sirius" about this first time PotM. Ni!

Sir Spuddly is on it: Linux provides a significant point bonus on this project. This appears to be true even in a VM, perhaps something to explore/exploit - how d'we doodat?

Milestones:
The Knights Who Say Ni! 700,000

Spuddly Buddly 300,000
Sir Mifun Fat in a Right Place 6,000
samuraiii 4,000

In regards to the Linux client being faster then the Windows client, looking at the points it seems that the points are adjusted (as it should do) for each client. That is, more points for a work unit that takes longer to do, but ... comparing Linux to Windows, the points per work unit are roughly the same, but the Linux work units complete quicker.
On an old machine, using Linux on a USB-stick will be a good idea. On a new shiny machine, unless you have the time, I don't think it makes a lot of difference.

Looks like we've broken the PotM as usual - see http://boinc.vgtu.lt/vtuathome/forum_thread.php?id=10
If the WU is taking longer then normal then feel free to jetison it. Sad
