They have problems with Linux OS/distros - tried with Fedora and it blew up after 10 seconds. Windows works ok.
This from 2012 on the message board
"I RECOMMEND ANYONE THINKING OF RUNNING "THE LATTICE PROJECT" TO RUN DON'T WALK AND DO ANYTHING ELSE THIS IS A COMPLETE WAIST OF TIME."
The A4 waist challenge of Time ... Was n't that an old Sci-fi book by Robert Heinlein?

Don't look at the points granted by Lattice - it's something devised by a loony! Seems like the system's based on some Chinese agricultural Feng-sui, menopausal, shaman's LSD experience ... or something like that _________________ a monster can be excused for his behaviour . . . JEEZUS! Zombie project indeed! After pausing or stoping (to reboot etc) all work grinds to a snails pace - a very old snail with a rollator. Dump those suckers and get new ones as you'll nevr make the very short deadline (apt for a zombie project!)

I tried Lattice for a while. Work seemed steady and they have 9721 WUs to send now. Problem is WUs took large chunks of memory, 2G - 3G each. So it didn't take long to overwhelm the 12G available on my system. Perhaps other Knights have better luck with that.
