Due to a crisis situation, elections have been suspended. Distributed Data Mining is installed as the first Project of the Month for 2016.

Frankly I'm not quite sure how this all happened, it's all so sudden. I hope - and indeed I'm on my knees and praying - that this has absolutely nothing to do with the return of Glomer VonStockowitz! He has not been seen in our Sector of the Universe for quite some time.

Starting stats:
1st Place
56,259,689. Total points
Average daily production past week 19,035. points. Embarassed
852,947. points ahead of 2nd place. Shocked
2,699,729. points ahead of 3rd place.

86,662. average daily production L'Alliance Francophone / 2nd place. #Fist
263,277. average daily production SETI.USA / 3rd place. #Crazy

KWSN stepped it up and matched French production at 88K yesterday, but we'll need additional "heavy hitters" to pull away from them and stave off the next two teams.

Lemme dig a bit... I'm sure I have a Commodore 64 in the closet
somewheres... Oh? It DOESN'T mean 64-Thread? Well, OK...
Never mind, then... Nothing to see here... Move along, move along...

Good news sssshhhh keep this on the down low: looks like the French have backed off in the last few days. We out-shrubbed them 102K to 3K yesterday. Tanutage prevails again! Ni!

Bad news: As Sir Spuddly said, we're about to be stomped by Seti.USA.

11 Knights shrubbed DDM in the past week. Cool Need hayelp!

Milestones:
PhastPhred 1,000,000
Yankton 800,000
LanDroid 750,000
williamd007 600,000
sir spuddly buddly 350,000

The highest CVSS Base Score of vulnerabilities affecting Oracle Java SE is 10.0

The Oracle Java SE components affected by vulnerabilities that are fixed in this Critical Patch Update are:
• Java SE
• Java SE Embedded
• JRockit

Security vulnerabilities addressed by this Critical Patch Update affect the following products:
• Oracle Java SE, version(s) 6u105, 7u91, 8u66
• Oracle Java SE Embedded, version(s) 8u65
• Oracle JRockit, version(s) R28.3.8

When available on Jan 19, updates will be found at:

Not sure how worthwhile these final stats are (forgot again), but here goes anyway. The good news is KWSN doubled our lead over the French and held them off, but the bad news is Seti.USA passed us for 1st place.

Final stats:
2nd place -1 Crying or Very sad
58,950,072. Total points +2,690,383.
1,675,819. ahead of the French +822,872.
