After being shrubbed 7/12 of 2014, being banned by a Galactic Dictator for the first quarter of 2015, and winning a tie-breaker, Collatz is back as GPU Project of the Month for the first time this year.

http://boinc.thesonntags.com/collatz/

1964 WUs ready to send, about 400 each in 5 sub-projects.

Sir SpineyNorman points out a potential problem with adding Collatz to Boinc and, like any good Knight, also provides the solution.

Starting Stats:
19th Place
3,932,373,742. Total points
1,533,725. Average daily production
1,371,351. RAC 19th place

Could not connect to project with Win 7 & IE but no problems with Fedora and Firefox. Is that a good or bad thing though!? Laughing

Since I went to the website first to create an account, Firefox checked on the lack of certificate which I allowed and created a permanent exception. I assume that is why it went ok.

If IE can do the same thing it might work?

PS - IE's certificate system is odd ... did the fix with new file and updated Boinc Manager - bingo! connected. Now in just 95 hours I'll return my first GPU WU! Shocked

Project is down
The project's database server is down. Please check back in a few hours.

The curse of the PotM has struck again! Sad
