The Seti-Germany.de crew is ready for us to sign up for the Seti@Home 2014 WOW! - event contest.
Honorable knights who wish to participate in the ensuing fracas must join on their website.
We keep our team and shrubbing credits and knightly identity, but join the event individually. Instructions to follow.
Last year we put up an exceptional effort and pulled out a 3rd Place Team title. 2013 Wow! event Team stats
I expect Seti.USA to bring a team this year to help wipe some of the egg and elderberry off their face.
This means we will have to make an extra effort to get everyone we can to join up and shrub some Setti@home in August.
Get yer coconuts tuned up and sharpen your herring, calculate the swallows trajectory and don't forget to taunt!

Registration for the 2014 WOW - event Challenge is now open.
To participate you must register and have your sword handy.

Make certain you are presently a member of The Knights Who Say Ni! at Seti. #alien

From your Seti@Home account page, make note of your exact
NAME and your Seti USER ID #.
Proceed to the SG (Seti-Germany.de) Wow Event Registration page HERE
Follow steps 1-4. (yes, the Germans count "4") Rolling Eyes

Step 1. your seti user name
Step 2. your seti user ID
Step 3. pick a zodiac group (Doesn't matter which one.)
Step 4. submit

That's all there is to it. You are registered for the contest.
The team membership @ Seti, -(The Knights Who Say Ni!)- at the time you register will be the team that gets your credits.

I can see where I set 'Network Activity Suspended'
So if I finish my 96 or so before we even START, how do I
get more and not turn in what I already GOT?

There are 23 days left before the start of the Wow! contest. During that time they will be testing the website and resetting the accumulated credits several more times until the final reset at the opening of the contest on August 15th.

We are off to a great start with already 14 Knights signed up to participate.
I'm sending out PM's to 15 knights per day, (that's the message limit) to Knights with RAC in SETI. I hope to get those who are already actively shrubbing SETI to register for the WOW! 2014.

Phred of the Phastness has started a thread on the SETI boards KWSN section.

If you are aware of a Knight who will likely participate but may not have RAC right now in Seti, PLEASE DO INVITE them all to join us in the mayhem.
