At laaaaast a vacation for both CPU's and GPU's! This does NOT mean turn 'em off (unless you're in a tropical clime) because every computer cycle is sacred! It means crunch whatevah ya want!

Pimp the projects you're shrubbing and state why...

What badges are you chasing?

What milestone goals have you set?

I am mixing and matching a little. Doing some Collatz on GPU and CPU, doing some Einstein GPU, still shrubbing at PG (did you people read about the bonus credits on LLR projects?, +65% on SOB!!!). Yoyo Harmonious Trees on my ARM device.

Just biding my time until the next PG challenge in just over 44 days.

I'm gonna shrub gpugrid (my graphic card loves it) and world community grid (why not?).

What with all the Cosmo we been Shrubbin', my SETI became my #2 Project
I'm hoping I can bump it up some and who knows, maybe even make that 500k
Alas, my MJ-12 has to be put aside for now
Two months at 400% my Cap has my ISP sending me notes
Nice while it lasted - "I'll be back!"

SETI new V7 app WU's run about 4hrs15mins on my lil' rig. Seems more reasonable if you are as limited as me. Embarassed
I think I will do some of this & some of that. Maybe put a small push back on the Asteroids, skynet pogs and POEM.
Hard to keep my GPU busy on more than 2 programs. MilkyWay and POEM are about the only ones that have actual scientific work for it that isn't just credit grabbing. (ATI-AMD Radeon 4870) Sad
Still testing the Convector WU's, a few at a time every few days... they still have a 40% error rate on my computer... I've reset the project a few times... I guess they will get it figured out sooner or later... maybe.
I just hit 5 MILLION BOINC ... Looking to reach 10 MILLION by mid September.

Not sure how many of these I can accomplish. Not much of a vacation, long shrubber-do list...

Push these over the 100K milestone: Correlizer, Seti, Rosetta, and MalariaControl.

Add 3 or 4 sub-projects to get that pesky badge in WU Props. Yoyo might do it...

WCG badges....

Check out new projects for the GPU to munch, possibly Einstein.

Saw the thing about bonus points for PG so looks like it is time for me to expand my badge collection over there. Should help some with the WUprop badge too, but that is gonna take a while. Having a bit of fun with T4T right now too cause its real science and got 600 points for one 24hr. Plus they track the stats for number of events done in the virtual machine and i'm up to 4.888 Million and counting.

If i get bored with primegrid there are still several projects i have just under 10k so i could pretty easily bump those up.

My i5-2500k w/GTX570 is on PrimeGrid, SOB & GNF-WR ATM. Everything else is on SAT, I moved us past BOINC SETI@home Russia, Hardware Canucks should fall later today. Ars Technica is outproducing us, though. Currently 48th place. Sad

Hopes for the team challenge falling as Wabbit hasn't picked up his PM yet. Confused

Thanks Phred. Work is intermittent so grab 'em while you can, limit 16/core in progress, roughly 1.5 days' worth.

I have added SAT back to my list of running projects in the manager. should run nicely alongside my other current stuff, and i only have just over 100 points at SAT so lots of room for milestones and I'm a milestone addict #ni-1

Romania and Ukraine shall fall!

Really unplugging here. We just had 2 consecutive days over 20°c, so definitely wilting shrubs.
Pruning might be a better term -time for some of the kit to go to a better home.

Isn't that normally called room temperature??? Razz

Had a few days over 90°F here, (32°C), already. Take off your turtleneck sweater and carry on. Laughing

WCG on CPU's, chasing Sapphire on DSFL (ending soon, still need less than 100 CPU days, so I need some 7 days to reach it Cool), than moving to Sapphire hunt on FAAH (not ending that soon Wink ).

In the meantime HFCC might come back with its last target, so my goal will be Emerald or Sapphire, depends on amount of work available.

New sub-project is expected "later in summer"...

With GPU I will shrub almost all projects available for AMD/ATI (except of POEM).

But my ultimate goal is to finally figure out how that voting is working #Mad. Still seems Frenchy to me

Cheers #ni-1

Very impressive badges Mr. Branjo. I'm proud of one Emerald for a year of fighting Aids, but you have five plus a Sapphire for 2 years! I plan on getting back to WCG once I reach a few milestones and get that stupid WU Prop badge. Mad

I tried to move my i5 to SAT but almost all tasks error out. #Mad I tried downclocking it back to default speed to no avail. It began shrubbing one WU at a time. I guess the project server tells Boinc manager to do that after so many errors.
I ran some Asteroid WUs, no problem 24 WUs completed without error, 4 at a time. Tried SAT again, 4 computation errors out of 4 WUs. Now it has a daily quota of 4 so I can't try again until tomorrow at the earliest.
I'm going to switch it back to PG LLR tasks as errors should show up there if it's system instability causing the problem. Confused

It's shrubbing LLR right now, no problem so far, and I bumped it up to 4.0GHz. Shocked

I've got to get more room to add shrubbers. Rolling Eyes

P.S. we made 10th place for daily production today as well. Wink

I am proud on all KaNI!ghts who are shrubbing WCG despite much lower credits than in some other projects #ni-2

All my 12 CPU threads are dedicated to WCG 24/7, so it is not a big problem to collect badges (sure, my GPGPU helped a lot in HCC1) Cool

Good luck all in whatever projects you are shrubbing and cheers V #ni-1
