Not being one to spread gossip, but ... if I had say, 66 machines working away say, in a project, like eOn for example, is there a possibilty that not all of those machines were mine, or maybe I'd hacked them and put a bot on them? It's a possiblity of course, or someone might have a lot of money, or work somewhere with access to these machines and permission to crunch on them.
Maybe not ... maybe a team of say, bottom fetishers, like to sit on these machines with their big bottoms, for some unknown deviant pleasure.
Whatever the real reason, if I had so many machines crunching away, I'd be glad not to pay for the electricity, and would join a splendid team like KWSN.

Maybe get permission first, and that would help.

Way back when, Before GPU shrubbing I had as many as 28 machines that I had control of. Only 6 or 8 were actually mine. Now I could put about, maybe 10 on if I really wanted to run up the electric bill.
Unless I get a electric generating windmill I just can't afford it. I would love to put in a million credits a day but that would equal roughly a car payment each month in power... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

More people put solar panels on their houses... One of my brothers had em put on, which with the electric bills what they are in Jersey makes sense. His electric bill went down to like $15 a month or so, because when one isn't using the electricity during the day for instance, the solar panels keep generating. So they have meters for this, which allows one to sell the power back to the electric company, and then use off the grid when the solar isn't providing one's needs (like at night). It doesn't eliminate the electric bill, but can make it small. This is for a house, not an apartment, in a state with like 18 cents per KW/hr... _________________

So had you permission to run projects on those machines that were not yours?
Also a collection of say, 60+ machines of say, a mixture i7s, i5s AMD X6s etc would run up a pretty hefty electricity bill. Unless you had your own power supply of course.

My set-up (3 CPUs, 5 GPUs, and a PS3) has raised my electric bill from about $35 per month (when I was 'offline' some months ago) to about $220 currently.
I estimate that my 24x7 F@H crunching uses between 1600-1900 watts!
