Friends and goats alike,
If you have a high-end Nvidia chipset GPU, GET ON GPUGRID!!!
It doesn't need 3 WU's to validate the credit and for 8 hours of GPU work I got 11,700 credits!
I think with a little push we could move up...certainly get ahead of Russia. Even if our GPU folks did 1 WU every few days, it'd be progress.

Update-just checked-it is.
We should put some power in here.
Think I'll stop Einstein thru Monday and do some GPUGRID _________________

We will have to keep an eye on those Russians. They might try to distract us with vodka and shiny spoons.

I have a lot of trouble getting finished GPUGRID results to upload, goes to 100% but status stays 'uploading' for a while, then 'project backoff' for hours. I wouldn't care if not for the bonus. _________________

Any feedback on this from real world standpoint? I'm throwing two gt550 ti and a core i7 at f@h but the betas they're throwing out right now are sriously ticking me off...
It was bad enough when it was only one or two, but there are at least 2 that I know of now that are out of beta and nothing I can do with -advmethods flags or clock bus speeds to fix the problem.
Basically, its spending too much time at 80% load, when I built it to run 100% 24/7.
This project looks like it serves the same ends, so I'm thinking about jumping ship and going boinc... Hate to do it after 7 years of folding@home, but I built this rig with an eye toward cancer/alzheimers on the GPU cores, and F@H isn't using the cores well anymore. |

Sorry but F@H is not GPUgrid....can't really answer that. _________________

Looks like its about the same usage, although my google-fu tells me that people running it on linux are seeing 100% loads. I'll try that later. |

It seems with the large (long runtime) units, you get bonus points.
10 hours of crunching got me 54000 points on my GTX580. _________________ SAVE THE WHALES. Collect the whole set.
