Yeah, it actually started midnight UTC I believe.
I have 16 cores on 121 trying to find the first prime on that project. Should be huge. I get over 1M PRPNet credits a day on this project.
I have ESP as a backup since it's on the other server.
Let's hope one of us wins one of the jerseys this year. |

Sir Pooh if you find a 121 prime that would be epically huge.

Just got this notice from PG
PrimeGrid: Call for arms: full doublecheck of TRP
We have recently started a limited doublecheck effort for The Riesel Problem and this has very quickly yielded a prime, which means that the results that we obtained from Riesel Sieve project cannot be trusted 100%. Therefore we have decided to run a full doublecheck effort.
We would like to quickly go through the doublecheck ranges and resume our original search, so we would like to ask you to consider redirecting any resources you may have available to The Riesel Problem (TRP) subproject. You can do that by visiting project preferences page.
Applications are available for Windows, Linux and Mac. 32bit applications will be sent to 64bit hosts. _________________

On the BOINC side they have taken a project out of beta and that is Generalized Fermat Prime Search sub project.
Nvidia GPU with double precision floating point hardware is required for this project.
So bang them out and find the largest prime ever. EVER!!!!!!!!

Sir John Galt you have found the first prime during the coveted Mountain Stage. So you have a chance of getting that special jersey added to your account unless someone passes you.

I must be doing something wrong. I am shrubbing a hell of a lot of stuff for Prime Grid and I am not even on their charts. I just upped my output from about 500k per day to nearly 1Mil per day and no luck. |
