Deleting Correlizer and Asteroids, adding Prime Grid and Seti, we have this first draft. See list of excluded projects below - is SkyNet/POGS or any other project ready to add? Doesn't look like QMC has re-launched yet. Any projects to delete from the ballot?
Climate Prediction
Constellation
Cosmology
Distributed Data Mining
Docking
Fight Malaria
Malaria Control
MUON 1 V (Non-boinc)
Number Field Sieve
Primaboinca
Prime Grid
Rosetta
SAT V
SETI
Sztaki Grid
World Community Grid
YoYo
Vacation / No CPU POTM
Excluded projects:
SkyNet/POGS web site and "Alliance" confusion. Add back in October?
Eon - bouncy work server
Quantum Monte Carlo - Beta, re-launching in Sept.
ABC - lack of work, project nearing completion?
Edges - lack of work
Mind Modeling - lack of work
OProject - lack of admin, project needs to mature
RNA World - no checkpointing, no work for short WU's
SubSetSum - Misc. tech problems |

That's an unusual situation for Simap, so we should add that as an option.
Good news on Eon.
If we add those two, I think that brings us over the limit on the CPU poll. Suggest deleting Muon and SAT for now, don't recall those receiving more than 1 or 2 votes in quite a while... |

We just did SETI last month, maybe take that off for 2-3 months? _________________

Adding Simap, SkyNet, & Eon and deleting Seti from the 1st draft, we have this list of 20 projects. Can't remember if the poll limit is 19 or 20, may have to test...
Any other changes?

Quote: | RNA World Checkpointing coming up
Presumably next wednesday we will install the new checkpointing system. So please do not be surprised if there is a system outage. Old WUs should be preocessed as usual - so do not worry about your long-runners. If you like to use the checkpointing system, you will have to install VirtualBox. Of course, we will first send out WUs to the beta testers.

RNA World had very long WU's and no checkpointing. A new system starts today or tomorrow (after server upgrade). Unfortunately it looks like we have to use VirtualBox to get checkpointing, which doesn't seem worth the trouble to me. Any Knights check(point)ing this out?

I already have VirtualBox for the Test4Theory Project -
Unless there is some difficulty with THIS Project, it was simple to Install _________________

I also have VB installed from T4T but will need to update it. That thread is rather confusing since he hasn't released the VB app officially yet _________________
