Moo! Wrapper brings together BOINC volunteer computing network resources and the Distributed.net projects. It allows a BOINC Client to participate in the RC5-72 challenge.

This works with both ATI and CUDA, but supposedly better with ATI. I thought Moo! wrapped several projects?

Nope, just RC5-72.

Quote:
Note that we have intentionally left Distributed.net OGR-project out of scope since you can already join that project at Yoyo@Home.

Does this mean Yoyo's OCR sub-project will use the GPU, too?

Interesting factoid: since Moo! is a wrapper for RC5-72 and the accounts are linked between the boinc world and the distributed.net world (for some), it's pretty interesting that as of this time last year we were ranked around 150 in RC5-72 (and I remember not too long before that, we ranked above 200). And today we rank 26 overall with our production yesterday ranking us at 4 overall. That's been a good jump.

Remember, RC5-72 gives us Vault points, so that's a good thing. Good job everybody!

The Musketeers are so helpful to other teams - I just wonder if we could convince them to Moo! for us. So we can beat them.

"Why that scheme is so silly, it just might work!"

Had just moved stuff off of Moo over to Milkyway, and now I got the User of the Day! Well, now I have to go back to Moo at least for the day. Milky doesn't want to respond right now anyway. Confused
