Just wanted to show you some information on the latest news from the Pesky Kows.
DPC has the history to either hold megaflushes or gigaflushes (or dumps) as most of the oldtimers know.
A little less known is the fact that we also hold an organized annual stampede on 1 project for a period of 1 month.
That means; roughly 250 new people to a project trying to assimilate whatever computer, laptop or hair dryer that they can get their hands on and will run a specific program. (lately mostly Boinc projects)
This year, the choice has fallen on the Docking@Home project.
The massive instream of new users already caused a shortage of workunits for which we are sorry. However most people with a large enough buffer won't have noticed.
What a stampede looks like stats-wise is something like this:

(notice the small yellow bump in the graph, that was Boincstats weekly challenge)
Note: Docking is still a CPU only project. In the future DPC might hold annual GPU Stampedes as well. _________________ SAVE THE WHALES. Collect the whole set.

You know we can't stampede, we just go in random directions at different times.

Ah, my bad!
Didn't want to give the impression that I was recruiting on your forum. Just showing the Dutch annual version of your PotM.
We do have a PotM as well with a group of people that call themselves the Vaulthunters. But a whole stampede generates a lot more impact. (DPC topped 3 million yesterday, doing over 60% of the entire projects work) _________________ SAVE THE WHALES. Collect the whole set.
