In the middle of crunching quick (less than one minute, less than 10 credits) GPU WUs, Windows froze, the display blinked, Windows warned of recovery from display card failure and all the SETI GPU WU disappeared. Has anyone ever heard to WUs being recalled?

Just guessing, maybe the GPU failed, then the BOINC manager saw there was no usable GPU and deleted those WU's. question Confused

It's doing PrimeGrid now. Could a short failure of maybe two seconds cause the WUs to disappear?

I don't know, it was just a guess. Two seconds is a long time to a computer unless it's specifically programmed to wait before acting. Confused

Have you checked on the project to see if the WU's were aborted by the project?

That sometimes happens on other projects I have shrubbed.

It was unresponsive for 2 seconds. The black screen was just a bit more than a flicker. I've had it lock up on me for a second or two before when I try to do something more than surf while shrubbing on all the core and GPU.

The completed short units are are in my results, either validated, or awaiting validation. There are 1063 pending ones from today. When I try ot get more work from SETI, I get "Message from server: This computer has finished a daily quota of 100 tasks)" .

PrimeGrid has validated some of the WUs I completed since, so I guess the GPU is OK. I'm going to try not worry about it. I should be used to SETI weirdness by now. Started this 12 years ago today. Ni!
