Wabbit,
You have some setting that prevents people from joining the team?

Could really use some more shrubbers on Rosetta.

I'm in at RNA & Evo, haven't tried Mersenne yet.
BTW, I actually got a pile of Evo work yesterday - paid off handsomely with all of 4 (yes, read it and weep, I did say four) cobblestones.

Been shrubbing on RNA World for about 2 months now and moved us up from 82nd to .....
wait for it
we hit 59th today
Didn't have any issues joining the team back then so maybe some settings have changed

Yay Glad to see you have joined RNA World Yankton
Maybe we can bring this project up into the top 50 globally between us within the next month
Then maybe we can encourage others to join us for a real science project Yay
Just so long as you know that its a CPU intensive project you will be fine
Also if you get some WU's that never seem to end don't despair and abort them. They will finish eventually and you will get double credit for them. Had one a few weeks back that took over 350 hrs and got somewhere around 7k credit for it. Yay The original time reading was about 90 hrs Lol.
For some reason BOINC does not always give accurate readings on how long a WU will take. RNA World are aware of this issue.

I have it on a very low priority, along with some other oddball projects I didn't have much credit in. Once it gets rolling along some more I'll bump it's priority up a bit and see what happens with it. The long WUs don't bother me any. Though I've had a few at 100% with no time remaining continue on for several minutes before finishing. All good! It let me join the teams for those above when I came back a few days later, no idea why it didn't let me join at first. _________________ Some days are worse than others. |
