Here's the list of projects that have not been POTM...
ABC
Climate
Einstein
Milky Way
Prime Sierpinski Problem - PRP / Non-Boinc
Rosetta
uFluids
Vacation - Crunch your favorite project
The list is getting kinda skimpy and by now I'd say these must not be popular candidates.... Do we want to close out the "virgin" project idea and open it back up to all projects? Or figure out a few GPU/CPU pairs from the above list? We could throw Collatz into the pair list, not sure if that was ever an official POTM...
Or should we add other new projects such as Eon, Majestic 12, Muon1, or MalariaControl? (MalariaControl recently published quite a few papers.) I see some complaints about WU errors in the Eon forum, is that running smoothly?
Or if we just want to take a POTM vacation 'til January, that's fine with me... Kanigits might want to apply full power to their favorite projects during the holidays...
Just trying to keep POTM from getting stale... |

I'm still not clear on how to run the Prime Sierpinski Problem - PRP client. Skimming the forums I see mention of reserving ranges of numbers and specifying ports. You're supposed to choose the executable based on 1,2, or 4 cores, how do you use it on a 6 core machine?
In addition to 'virgin' projects, are there any in special need of a team push? I'm not familiar with most projects yet.

I'm already running Climate as its one of my favorites. However, I am happy to go with the flow if others choose something else. In the mean time I am still helping to clean up Sofie Germain as well. _________________ What is that in the Shrubbery?

I'd be willing to do PSP if somebody could give a tutorial for signing up. With that we could do a GPU in boinc to keep boinc credits alive.
Or there is always the WCG Christmas Race: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=30243&offset=0 Looks like we would need Al Dente to sign us up (at least he's listed as team captain).
Other than that, anything where we can make some nice moves in rankings is always fun.
That, or vacation. I'm game for just about anything. _________________

The Team's in. Not sure if I'll be contributing much, though. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

Since it's a 24 day challenge, we might as well make it a POTM candidate.
