What type of motherboard would a compaq 5423us have? I have a compaq 5423us and it isn't that good. I need to find out what Motherboard it has to get a better processor. Or i might just get a new motherboard and replace it all. I don't know. Thanks for the help.

Not really worth upgrading it, memory might be a better route to upgrade. That motherboard can take 2 512 MB ddr pc2100 dimms, for a total of 1 GB.
