We are aware of the issues saving your preferences (the message states that the changes have been saved, which doesn't actually happen), and are working to resolve the issue. It has been reported that logging out and in again helps, so you might try that as a workaround.<br /> <b>UPDATE:</b> as of 16:00 UTC preferences saving should work.
