|
|
Breaking/Developing News:
Due to the 8 day Prime Grid Earth Day Challenge 4/22 - 4/30/10, the Executive Committee on KWSN Elections or ECKE* issued Executive Tertiary Directive # 010C632A.32.3 which "temporarily" suspends elections and summarily installs Prime Grid as the "Offcial Reigning Sovereign Project Of The Month for April 2010".
Rumors abound amongst the active Kanigit voting population that all previous elections have been shams that were actually predetermined by Executive Directive. It is unknown how long the temporary suspension on elections will last. These certainly are not the first accusations of POTM election chicanery, however as of this posting no members of ECKE could be reached for comment.
*Pronounced very loudly as ECKY! just like the first four words in the revised KWSN motto "ecky-ecky-ecky-ecky-PTANG-zoom-boing NI!"

You're suspending the results of a fair democratic election? Does the UN know about this? I certainly hope not, if they did they'd throw reconstruction money at you in vast quantities and heap praise upon the leadership.
We can't be having an air of legitimacy crop up around this team, it just wouldn't do. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

As Chairman of the Election Committee I have no comment on past, present, or future vote rigging.

Bah we made you Chairman of the fall guy committee so in case something happens all the blame falls on you. After much discussion at the UN (bribes) the election result is deemed acceptable and fair.

I'm set up for 321-LLR and PPS-LLR
As we get near the start of the next Challenge, I'll drop off the PPS-LLR and Suspend any PPS-LLRs I have queued up (if any)
I see I had a few more PHriends join me!
Quick! PGGBs for ALL! (Or Heines!) _________________

So what is everybody working on? I'm gonna try one of those SOBs along with an early start on 321 llr. May move on to something else if I can get a badge in SOB before the challenge. _________________

Well, just got my 16th (and currently last) bronze badge -- TRP LLR. Currently working on upgrading at least one of the sieves to silver (sieve because of the 64-bit advantage) while waiting on the challenge to roll around.
@ Stooper101: Them SoB's are mean-nasty.
They took me about 11.5 days of CPU time on a 2.4GHz C2Q, but 1 was enough to get me the SoB bronze badge.
Validation, however, is a tad... uhh... lengthy. I got one SoB WU on Feb. 1st, returned it on Feb. 17th, and am still waiting on it to validate... _________________

I am having a little trouble with the 321's. I am not sure but I think that when my box try's to run 4 of them it locks up. It has frozen and I have had to disconnect the power 3 times in the last couple of days. Buttons don't work and there is no power to the usb keyboard and mouse.... _________________ a.k.a. I had a similar problem - I selected all the 64 bit projects to run. The other day the system froze and took about 4 minutes to recover (without rebooting etc.) as if PG had taken up every shred of system resources. I guess it took that long for the ram and paging file etc. to clear?
Which projects should we avoid? (I haven't run PG since that lockup.) Based on the above I de-selected 321 and PSP/SoB... Will crunch again... |
