Looks as if DynaPing has opened up to all-comers.

Heartily recommended, as it's free points - uses virtually no CPU, just your internet connection. WUs run for 12 hours, but cobblies are awarded as you're running, so instant gratification.

One and all (preferably all) should join up as soon as the beer runs out, or you sober up, whichever occurs soonest. If the beer supply holds up, and you don't sober up, then sign up anyway.

Expect ~50-60 cobblies per machine per day (I've been doing a bit over 700 with 13 shrubbers attached).

Willy has just added DynaPing to BOINCStats (it's been there all along, but hidden to ordinary ffolks), and I noticed that the numbers had swelled considerably. I had a gander around the DynaPing forum, but no mention of opening it up, and (falsely) assumed that it had been opened up on the quiet.

I was away for the weekend and didn't notice the general dismay until this evening; a bit more digging revealed the explanation here. Seems that you can only get an invite code if you're not a Yank, Brit or Kraut. Crying or Very sad

So if there are any Patagonian or Outer Mongolian kNi!ghts who want to join, you're in. For the rest of you, better luck next time.

It's limited to two per country, those just happen to be the ones that already have two.
