If you use your computer for "real" work, note that NFS uses a large amount of memory. My server which runs the KSWN Stats SW choked this morning trying to run the stats program. Boinc had 2 lasievef tasks running, both of which require > 1 GB of ram, leaving my stats program waiting for memory.
Corrected by disabling Boinc between 2:00 and 4:00 AM (stats program run & system back-ups).

Don't know if anybody addressed this here but, there are three different applications in the NFS preferences. If you're having trouble with memory, try disabling lasievef. You can read this thread for more info. _________________
