|
|
Please vote for the project that you prefer for Project of The Month from the list above. The concept is KWSN members should allocate as many crunching assets to that project as feasible during the month of October. See additional team stats in my signature.
Stomp Factor
My subjective rating of the number of teams we could stomp during the month.
Zero = We're solid, but probably can't move up.
Low = We might move up 1 or 2 places with some luck.
Medium = We could move up say 3 to 5 places.
High = We should stomp a bunch of teams on this project! _________________

An estimate of how we could do on each project, using Free-DC's 7-day average and projecting forward 30 days, with effect on DC-Vault score.
Take these with a pinch of salt, e.g. PrimeGrid will be changed a bit by the Challenge, the low-scoring projects (WCG, Rosetta) won't get to the last column), etc. I haven't done the 2 GPU projects, as I haven't the foggiest idea of what difference we can make.
P.S. My vote goes to Poem, the most worthwhile project where we can do fairly well. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

I like it! The 1 million point column seems to validate my informal stomp factor ratings. Can you update and post this chart for the next three or four elections? I figger by then we will have picked off all the high stomp projects and we'll be back to arguing about other aspects. No wait, we stat hos will find some other ways to slice & dice the data...
You sold me on POEM. |

POEM? Great. I have been working my way back up through the ranks there to regain my # 3 position on the team since the last time it was the POTM. I fell down several slots with big gaps between them. I managed to climb back to the position that does not exist. In fact I managed a reverse pass on some guy in a tus this week.
I guess I should prepare to start the climb again... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Don't count 'em yet, plenty of votes yet to be cast.
Wabbit's gonna blow a sphincter if we don't crunch some Leiden soon, and we all remember what happened the last time THAT happened. |

My poor lonely vote for a worthy project that has been around for awhile.

Vote 'em up! We need to count the votes, start opening the absentee ballots, respond to court challenges about voter fraud and improper advertising, and after all that announce the winner some time tonight...

Does POEM have optimized apps? |
That's the only reason I put in Milkyway, even though there isn't a listed stomp facter The points. But when the day's done we all know that peeps get more points on their GPUs there, so it'll still be comming in either way :p _________________
