How big is that again? I am having trouble counting that many zeros. It just proves how far insanity can take a team.

That'd be a BILLION then (though not a good old fashioned British billion).
Quote: |
If you are American, it is undoubtedly 1,000,000,000. This amount is known to traditionally minded British people as `a thousand million', and by some more adventurous ones as a 'milliard', though this word has not made as much headway in English as in some other European languages. A trillion is then 1,000,000,000,000, and so on.
If you are British, on the other hand, a billion may be 1,000,000,000,000 (a million million), following the older convention.
If you are neither British nor American, you can take your pick! (Both systems were invented by the French, but are called 'British' and 'American' for convenience.) |
Both systems were invented by the French but are called 'British' and 'American' because we always ignore the French.

Whoopee. Now we're billionaires, does that mean we can afford another shrubber each?

Yeah, even the brits like to ignore the French The only time they'd "care" to take notice, is when they get a block of cheese that smells like smelly feet, or worse OK, enough stinky scent jokes, lol
Anyhow, yeah, it's 1 bil, as some might more easily mention it. Though without formating, that number would have only 1 thing worse if one were to try to represent it. If they were to do so in base 2, like the number of bytes in a gigabyte, aka 2 ^ 30th power. Well at least all the 0s would be gone, unless one tried to represent the number in base 2 _________________
