I don't know if this is new or not, But I have never seen it before.....
It's really quite interesting, but a little hard to read

It is a bit difficult to read, but it does give project comparisons. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Anyone know how to read that chart? If for example I compare Docking to Poem, I get 1.3547. OK so wazzat mean, which one gives more credit? (I'm sure it's Poem, but how can I tell from the chart?) |

Move the highlight to the comparison you want to make (i.e. Docking to Poem) and then click, it will give you more information (and make sense).
It also includes this tidbit, which helps:
Project credit comparison between POEM@HOME and Docking@Home on shared hosts
Lower than 1: the base project offers less credit per CPU second
Higher than 1: the base project offers more credit per CPU second
The "base project" is the one on the left. I.e. if you move the highlight to POEM on the left and Docking at the top you get 1.3547. I believe this is telling you that the base project, POEM, grants 1.3547 x the credit per second that Docking does when compared on the same system.
You can also easily spot the "broken" projects because they grant 10-20x the credit of any other hehe. Likewise, my favorite WCG, is notoriously stingy with credits, rated under 1.0 for the majority of projects. Surprisingly Climate Prediction is even stingier, with WCG being 1.5 of it! _________________

Anybody think BOINCStats will overtake Ars Technica before we do?
I think we got the edge...
My call, by the end of our PotM, it'll be the kNI!ggts in position 13 and BOINCStats at our heels at 14! |

I was aiming for P10, ~600K above us.
We're doing ~37½K/day x 16 days = (well, would you believe it!!) 600K.

I just added on my new shrubber as well. It's an i7 920, but not overclocked (sadly). Can't wait until I have one at home running at 4 GHz. _________________

Update: BOINCStats has apparently slowed down a tad, and ARS Technica has moved up to 12th. Here's a later comparison...
