This is my 3,000st post, and like the second or third time I have gotten to 3,000 posts. I shall celebrate by drinking 3,000 PGGBs and I want everyone to join me. Onwards and upwards to my next 3,000 posts.

NI! NI! NI!
A stupendious acheivement, I hoist the Dwarf Savent and wave in your general direction.
Having been on and off these boards, as well changed NI!ck as well, I have no idea how many posts I have made accumulatative, but surely in excess of 711.
Can we find the old borads / forums anywhere? Or have they gone to the eternal shrubbery in PGC 6940, UGC 1342, MCG 3-5-24, ZWG 460.38 lub NPM1G +17.0073??

You need more computing power, and to sabatoge everyone else. Are you not involved in our monthly POTM?

Go buy a $60 HD3850 video card and join MilkyWay, you will stop slipping. I was a bit skeptical about the validity of their credit system at first, but I let 1 WU run through on my CPU (which is now long since gone from my results page since I'm turning in hundreds a day) and it took something like 3 hours to crunch on my Q9300 running at 3.26 GHz (up from 2.5 stock). Those same exact WUs take about 1 minute on my HD4870, with 3 running at once. Let the insane credit flow begin! _________________

For about double that you can get a 4870 and shrub close to 90k per day. _________________

Sir John, You're probably doing nothing wrong and your computer is probably working fine. You're seeing what I was seeing a few months back. You're slipping because others are (like the wabbit said) upgrading or replacing their systems with more and or faster ones. If you can ,slap you a shiney new GFX card in there. My lowly P4 HT@ 3.0 Ghz was getting about 3K per day, after tossing in a 4870 and a bigger power supply and putting it on MW it's now about 70K and still climbing. _________________
